MISSION STATEMENT
...for the Bayou is a grass roots non-profit organization
started in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008 to increase
public awareness of the national value of the rapidly
eroding and disappearing Louisiana coastal wetlands.
Additionally, for the Bayou focuses efforts and fundraising
on new and established Louisiana wetlands restoration
and preservation projects and will organize for the
purpose of providing aid and assistance to Louisiana
coastal residents in the case of future natural disasters.
